1. Acceptance
By accessing veronia.in or installing and using a VERONIA LABS app, you agree to these Terms of Use and any additional terms displayed in the app or app-store listing. If you do not agree, do not use the website or app.
2. App availability
Features, languages, pricing, advertising, premium benefits, platform support and availability may change between versions or regions. The Google Play listing and in-app purchase screen provide the final terms for the version offered to a user.
3. Permitted use
You may use the website and apps for lawful personal purposes. You must not misuse the services, interfere with operation, bypass access controls, attempt unauthorised extraction of source code except where permitted by law, distribute modified copies, or use the services to violate another person’s rights.
4. Battery information and estimates
Battery current, charging power, time remaining, capacity, cycle count and health estimates depend on device hardware, Android APIs, user-entered rated capacity and manufacturer implementation. Values may be incomplete, delayed or inaccurate and must not be treated as engineering, safety or diagnostic measurements.
5. Alarm reliability
Full-battery, low-battery and charger-removal alerts rely on background services, notifications, audio settings, permissions, battery optimisation and manufacturer controls. Android may delay, restrict or stop background activity. Users are responsible for checking device settings and should not rely on the app as the sole method of protecting a device, battery, property or personal safety.
6. Charger-removal protection
The current theft-protection function is intended to alert the user when a charging connection is unexpectedly removed while protection is active. It does not provide location tracking, motion detection, remote locking, insurance or a guarantee that theft will be prevented.
7. Advertising and premium access
The free app may display banner, native, interstitial or rewarded advertising according to the published version. Premium access may remove ads or provide stated additional benefits. Purchases are processed by the applicable app store and are subject to its payment, cancellation and refund rules as well as any legally required consumer rights.
8. Intellectual property
The VERONIA, VERONIA LABS and app names, branding, interfaces, text, graphics, software and other content are owned by VERONIA or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. No rights are granted except the limited right to use the services under these terms.
9. Third-party services
Apps and the website may use or link to third-party services, including Google Play, advertising networks, analytics providers and Web3Forms. Their services are governed by their own terms and policies. VERONIA LABS is not responsible for third-party content or availability beyond obligations imposed by law.
10. Support and updates
We may provide support, updates, fixes or new features, but we do not guarantee that every device will remain supported or that the services will always be available without interruption.
11. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website and apps are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free results, fitness for a particular purpose or guaranteed theft prevention.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VERONIA and VERONIA LABS will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive losses arising from use of or inability to use the services, including device loss, missed alarms, data loss, battery damage, lost profits or third-party conduct. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
13. Termination
We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, enforce these terms or address misuse. You may stop using the services and uninstall an app at any time.
14. Changes
We may revise these terms as the services, laws or platform requirements change. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to mandatory consumer-protection rights and the jurisdiction rules that apply to the user.
